Executing component

TABLE OF CONTENTS

Introduction

The executing component refers to the on-premise component that all organizations participating in transfers must have installed within their own IT infrastructure. The executing component enables a secure connection between organisations’ IT infrastructure and the ILAP Data Exchange (IDE) service.

There are two different components to install:

Desktop Client: Requires users to press "buttons" to initiate a transfer (upload or download)

Autonomous Component: Allows for transfers being executed without manual interaction.

Why do we need an executing component?

The data that is to be transferred through ILAP exchange agreements (IEAs) resides within the IT infrastructure of the participating Tenants. The executing component enables the users to share data with exchange partners outside their own infrastructure.
