Abstract
In order for two actors to have compatible Configs, both sides need to use the same Template. This is the reason why Templates can be shared, as part of the Setup admin role. This article describes how Templates are shared and received.
Sharing templates in the context of the Setup user role.
Step-by-step: Sharing templates
- Open the template to be shared.
Navigate to the “Templates” page from the setup menu. Find the Template you intent to share and open it by clicking on the row in the table, or through the menu by clicking the menu icon on the right-end of the row.
This menu also gives you the option to open the sharing window directly. Using this option will skip step 2 and go directly to step 3.

Receiving templates
When a Template is share with you, it will show up in the “Received templates” tab of the “Templates” page that can be accessed from the Setup menu.
In the near future, a notification system will be implemented. Setup users will be notified when a Template is shared with their Tenant with a link to the Template in question.
