Introduction

The Connector Grid under the Setup section in IDE provides a centralized view of all configured connectors for your tenant. It’s a key UI that helps Setup Admins monitor connector status, manage connectors, and check the health of the connector. This article gives you a breakdown of each column in the grid.

Grid Columns Explained

1. Id

A unique numeric identifier for each connector. It is created automatically when you create a new connector. Useful for referencing specific connectors when reporting issues or checking logs.

2. Title

The name added to the connector when it was created.

3. Host System

Shows which host system the connector belongs to. Host Systems include: ILAP Analytics, Safran Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project (MSProject), SAP etc.

4. Labels

Optional tags used to categorize connectors. These can help with filtering, searching, or flagging environment-specific connectors.

5. URL/Path

The destination path or API endpoint the connector uses to send or receive data.

6. Execute Component

Indicates whether the connector runs via:

  • Desktop — requires manual initiation using the IDE Desktop Client.
  • Autonomous Component — handles uploads/downloads automatically based on scheduled tasks or triggers.

7. # of IEAs

Shows how many IEAs are currently using the connector. This gives you a quick sense of how critical or active a connector is in your tenant.

8. Last Health Check

Displays the most recent time IDE verified the connector’s availability. The timestamp is shown in 24-hour format and reflects the user’s local time zone.

Status indicators:

  • Green – Healthy connection
  • Red – Unreachable or error
  • Orange – Possibly degraded (no health check is performed within 7 days of the last successful check)

9. Search, Sort, Filter, Layout & Button

The connector list page also has some functionalities such as Search, Sort, Filter, Create New Connector Button & Reset layout

  • Search – Helps users efficiently locate specific connectors by entering keywords matching any column content.

  • Sort – Allows users to reorder connectors by clicking on a column header, toggling between ascending and descending values. Sorting is supported across all columns.

  • Filter – Enables users to narrow down visible connectors by selecting specific values for one or more columns.

  • Create New Connector – Opens a modal where users can define a new connector by entering host system, execution method, and authentication details.

  • Reset Layout – Restores the default grid layout, including column order and width, if any customizations were previously made.
    • Before

    • After

10. Three-dot Menu (⋮) Actions

Each row has a menu on the right. Clicking it reveals actions related to the specific connector, such as:

  • Open – View the connector's detailed view.
  • Edit – Modify the connector's details.
  • Duplicate – Create a new connector using the current configuration as a base.
